The Seacow Head Lighthouse is located in the community of Fernwood.  The community of Fernwood is located on the south-central coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada, west of Central Bedeque.

Fernwood, Chelton, Lower Bedeque and the surrounding areas are steeped in tradition and history,

A popular destination for United Empire Loyalists and a home for numerous historic businesses from fishing, walrus hunting, canning, boat building, farming and forestry over the past 150 years.

Today, the area is mostly agricultural with a large portion of the island's famous potatoes grown right here.

Spotted throughout our area are vacation and cottage homes, historic attractions and beautiful beaches.

We even have an actual Lucy Maude Montgomery school house.

for use in the production.
